The first condensed serif typeface by Matt Barnes, it features five weights: Dune, Dust, Grit, Monolith, and Bedrock.
The typeface is inspired by the feeling of exploring an adventurous, and possibly treacherous, desert biome. Its forms are tough and strong, but with just enough character to keep things unpredictable.
It is made for brands that want to feel premium without feeling precious. It has a rugged, confident personality with a little bit of weirdness. Not the dumb quirkiness of a Wes Anderson movie, but the kind of unexpected character you find in a trusty neighborhood bodega that suddenly starts selling some strange new offering.
